New security procedures for international shipments with UPS collections from a residential address
All international packages collected by UPS now require the driver to check the Government issued ID of the person tendering the package. This must be a valid Passport, Driver's License or Identity Card.
The ID of the person handing over the parcel can differ from the specified sender on the label, however the ID documentation must match the person handing over the parcel.
The collection will be refused if ID documentation is not provided, or is out of date, or if the photo does not resemble the person handing over the parcel.
